Aubrey and Jeff | Botanica Gardens Wedding | Wichita Kansas Photographer

Aubrey and Jeff’s simple and sweet wedding at Botanica was absolutely stunning. I love small, intimate weddings! It takes me back to my own destination wedding, with only our immediate family and close friends. That’s exactly what Aubrey and Jeff were going for, a ceremony for the two of them with their closest family and friends. It was intimate, simple and sweet. It meant everything to them, and their special day ended perfectly.

Aubrey called me the morning of very nervous as the weather was looking to be very rainy on and off. Their ceremony got moved indoors into Botanica’s Lotus room (BEAUTIFUL), in case any rain decided to show up during the wedding. I reassured Aubrey everything would be okay rain or shine and pictures will still happen outdoors no matter what. I’ve done several weddings in the rain and everything always ends up great. She was on her way to target during our conversation, so cute and fun umbrellas was on the list to pick up.

The evening of the wedding started off wonderfully and no rain was in sight. In fact, there was no rain at all and God pretty much answered everyones prayers. The ceremony still took place in the Lotus room and was as gorgeous as ever, with natural light pepping through every which way. Aubrey’s dad walked her down the isle, and then stood before her and Jeff uniting them as one.  There were tears flowing down everyone’s faces and the bride and groom had a glow of joy beaming from them. Their precious three year old daughter hopped about, and I captured some fun candids of her joyous moments.

After the ceremony we were able to venture around Botanica for some pictures of just Aubrey and Jeff. The weather stayed beautiful for us, a bit overcast with a slight breeze. We made our rounds, and then it was finally time for them to mingle and eat with their family and friends. Everyone there helped them celebrate the night away.

Aubrey and Jeff,

Thanks again for allowing me to document this special time for you both. It was a pleasure meeting you both and your families, and getting the opportunity to photograph such a fun and inspiring wedding. Cheers to many more decades of love and happiness!!!
