Breanne + Zach | Leon Kansas Wedding @ Cardinal Creek Farms | Wichita Kansas Wedding Photographer

Breanne and Zach were such a pleasure to work with. I knew from the moment we met, we would be the perfect fit for their special day. They are both so down to earth, love Jesus, and are crazy about each other.

These two met through a mutual friend, while both on the Wichita State track team their freshman year of college. Zach and Breanne went on a date to celebrate her finishing up her student teaching. He took her to the movies, dinner, then Botanica Gardens. While they were waiting in line for Botanica, Breanne noticed Zach was acting a little strange and he was texting his sister and wouldn’t let her see. While at Botanica, he continued to check his phone when his sister was texting him. He also was walking around in a hurry. He brought Breanne down to this cute little area that had a lot of Christmas lights. Under one of the trees, was a box with her name on it. That’s where Zach asked Breanne to marry him. Zach’s sister helped set everything up for him and took pictures of the moment.

Breanne and Zach got married on September 23rd, 2017 in Leon Kansas at Cardinal Creek Farms. It was a very warm day for the start of fall, and the sky was so blue, with clouds breaking up the sun light here and there. We started out the day with getting ready shots while Breanne and Zach were in their separate rooms. This farm has such appeal, I couldn’t help but get as many details as I could in every corner. Breanne was glowing and Zach was anticipating the moment to see her.

We brought Zach out by the cross they had placed at the ceremony site. Breanne soon made her way to him for their first look, and it was beautiful. They had written their own vows to each other, which they read aloud at this time.

When formals started, we took them into the barn for some fun shots with the rustic decor. Then finished outside around the farm with the gorgeous sky and landscape. The bridal party was awesome and such troopers out in the wind and heat.

The ceremony took place outside the front of the barn, with the gorgeous open landscape for the view. As guests were arriving and getting seated, I couldn’t help but sing along to my favorite Christian music playing in the background. The ceremony was short and sweet, with a communion for the couple and a unity cross instead of candle.

After we did a few more photos of the couple around the barn, the reception started with dinner, cake, and dancing. As the sun started to go down, we took Breanne and Zack out for some sunset pictures in the field, and it couldn’t of been more amazing! It soon became night and the barn was lit up from the inside with guests dancing, having a great time.

Breanne and Zach,
