Sweet Mila was one of my first clients in 2018 when I changed styles and decided to do a lot of composites with my newborn sessions. I give mommas the option for what kind of colors they would like to see in the images. Most say a verity, but I do get a few that love neutrals and some that love muted colors and pastels. Then I spend hours in my studio the day before the session setting up all the props and laying out wraps, bonnets, headbands, and outfits. In my head, I know exactly what I want to accomplish. Now it’s all up to the baby and if he or she will sleep through their session.
Little Mila was a sleepy dream and let me get through all my setups. I got to do three milestones with her – Newborn, six months, and twelve months. It was such a pleasure getting to watch her grow through each stage. As you see below, I selected just a few of my favorites from each milestone session for this feature. It’s so fun seeing the progression as baby changes from sleeping to sitting, to walking! And, I have a closet full of super cute outfits for every stage!!!
