Wow, what an amazing day I got to share with Megan and Manny. This gorgeous wedding took place on May 24th of this year at St. Peters in Wichita Kansas. It was rainy and wet all day but that didn’t stop us from getting amazing pictures.
When we arrived at St. Peters, Megan and Manny decided on a first look so that most of their portraits would be done before the ceremony. This was planned perfectly, as we had off and on rain at this time and used the church’s overhang to take most of the photos.
During and after the ceremony it was pouring out, so thankfully most of the portraits were done and taken care of. However, we ended up losing power in the church during family portraits. It wasn’t a big deal and I was able to use my light set up that I always bring with me to weddings.
We made it over to Exploration place for a few more fun photos of the bride and groom before they made their grand entrance. With the overflowing river in the background, Megan and Manny will always remember that rainy day that ended up being one of the most special days in their lives.
