Jennie + Julen | New Life Church | Wichita Kansas Wedding Photographer

Where do I start?!!! I’ve known Jennie for many many years through New Life Covenant Church. She has been a light in many peoples lives including my own, as an encourager and sister in Christ. I was beyond honored when she asked me to document her most special day.

Julen and Jennie have the most amazing love story. A story that was only possible because they both had faith that God would bring them together. It’s amazing what can happen when you let go and give God control. What is really cool, is that these two met in Italy. Aaaaand… they both speak in English, Hispanic, and Italian.

These two gorgeous humans were super easy to work with. We ran a bit behind in the morning getting to portraits, but as soon as we started, the flow was natural. Since time was not on our side, I quickly did their first look outside the Ambassador Hotel where Jennie got ready. We did some portraits of Julen in the bar with the wine cooler, which turned out pretty dapper. Because I loved the location so much, and I felt it went towards the style of the wedding so well, I stayed to get as many romantic portraits as I could with the time frame I had.

We quickly headed over to Oak Park to finish bridal party and family portraits by the river. We really only had about 15 minutes to accomplish these, as I hate making the bride and groom late to their own ceremony. We finished up with a few more romantic portraits then rushed to the church.

The ceremony at New Life Church was so sweet and personable with friends and family there to pray over their unity.

After the vows, they fled to the car with a quick exit for some more fun photos at NewWay. What’s really cool about this, is that Jennie’s grandparents ate at this very one right after their wedding. They did again on their 50th wedding anniversary and NewWay has the photo on their wall to prove it!

We came back for the couple’s reception entrance with all their loved ones waiting to celebrate. They had toasts from several friends and family with the most beautiful words to say about the couple. You could see the happiness and love around the room. There were many tears and lots of laughter.

Check out these gorgeous images! My friends got some style ya’ll! I am still gushing over all the images!
