This elegant barn wedding took place on June 2nd, 2017 at Fulton Valley Farms in Towanda Kansas. Madison had a vision for her big day and everything turned out beautiful. These two love birds met years ago working together at Freddy’s. Madison soon became a mom to their two precious little ones. You can most definitely see the love and connection in their images below.
Madison and Bourbon’s wedding was centered around their family, and I loved getting to witness that. Not only did Madison do a first look with her dad, but Bourbon got a first look with his daughter as well. Both were tear jerkers for sure. We started out the day documenting the couple getting ready in their separate spaces. After the first looks, we captured as many formals as we could without them seeing each other. They wanted to make sure that first look was down the isle.
The ceremony was outside on the farm facing the trees, and the weather was absolutely amazing. Some unique and special moments they shared during their ceremony had us all in tears. Madison had not seen her own wedding band until the moment Bourbon placed it on her finger. How cool is that!? She also had written a special vow to Bourbon’s five year old daughter who was gaining a mommy. It was the most precious thing I have ever seen during a ceremony.
After the ceremony, we finished all the formals around the farm then headed to the barn where family and friends patiently waited for the bride and groom. The party soon started with cup cakes, champaign and dancing. The night was not complete without sunset pictures, so we pulled Madison and Bourbon aside while the sun was going down for some romantic golden images.
Madison and Bourbon,
Thanks again for allowing us to capture your most special day. We enjoyed documenting you both around all the people you love on a day that will mean so much for years to come. Many blessings to your family as you take on this new adventure together sharing the same last name. Cheers!!!
Warmly
