Sarah and Lucas got married on March 24th, 2018 at the Abode Venue in downtown Wichita. It was a gorgeous day in the 60s, and we were feeling all the wedding vibes.
We loved working with these two. They are super humble and kind, but most of all, it was obvious the love they share together. It made our job easy!
The day started out capturing images of everyone getting ready and all the details we could wrangle up. Sarah had the most gorgeous dress, that I’m pretty sure we all drooled over. And those heels!!! I’m still in awe over how she managed to wear them all day. They were sooooo tall! One bridesmaid helped Sarah get dressed, while the others got to do a first look. It was pretty awesome.
The Ceremony took place inside the venue with all the natural light pouring in. We did their separate formals outside before without them seeing each other. Then we took them to Union Station right after the ceremony to capture them together and with their bridal party. They were indeed an awesome bunch to work with.
Once we got back to the venue to get the party started, the couple made their grand entrance, cut their cake, and danced as husband and wife. As the sun was starting to set, we grabbed them for a few sunset pictures on the roof of the venue. It was breathtaking!
As the night was coming to an end, we spent the rest of our evening documenting the couple and their guests dancing and celebrating. I would have to say, they know how to keep a party going.
Sarah and Lucas,
We enjoyed working with you both so much. From the engagement to the boudoir, and wedding day, it has been a pleasure. Thank you for trusting us to get the job done right and delivering images that captured your dream wedding. We hope you will love them forever!
Warmly,
Amber Sublett
