I normally do not feature maternity sessions and I asked myself, “why not?!!!” It’s a HUGE part of what I do! So finally, here it is… a maternity session captured in nature. I love this wooded session so much and the warmness in tones that it brings. The golden sun set the mood for the whole evening, and it peeked out between the bare trees, giving us a warm glow for the photos. A lot of photographers shy away from the winter scenes because there is not a lot of color. I embrace it! I love the warmness of earthy tones that the bare trees bring to these images. There is something so simple yet significant about each picture captured.

These two were fabulous to work with, and if you can’t already tell, Krista was extremely easy to photograph. 🙂 She had that mom glow about her, and nailed every single shot I took. I am so looking forward to meeting their baby boy in May!!!
